Aviné invites you to be intoxicated by scrumptious foods, glorious wines and magnificent landscapes of the Rutherglen area and surrounding districts.

Set amidst a delightful cottage garden and luxurious surroundings, Aviné is unique to the Rutherglen area, being a fully self-contained, non-hosted holiday house with full country breakfast provisions supplied.

Aviné is a beautifully restored home that was originally situated on a large vineyard near Lake Moodamere . It was resited in the early 1950s to where it stands today. Aviné is situated on the serene south side of the Rutherglen township and an easy seven-minute stroll will put you in the charming main street with its fine restaurants and shops.

On arrival, the beautiful hues of the lavender hedged front garden beckon guests to enter the unusual twin gabled entrance under the old oak tree.  The beautifully renovated interiors and wide shady verandas encourage rest and relaxation - be it with afternoon tea or a glass of the day’s local wine find.

The residence features polished floorboards throughout which extend the interior through the huge north facing bi-fold glass doors to a raised terrace shaded by a glorious vine covered pergola – while the long wooden table and market umbrellas on the pergola encourage use of the fully equipped French-inspired kitchen for a memorable and relaxing gastronomic experience.

Aviné consists of 2 spacious bedrooms finished in inspiring colours, with queen sized beds and fine bed linens and individual crisp white ensuite bathrooms (one with bath).  Cosy for a romantic getaway for two while also being generously spacious for two couples to share.

Other features include gas and log fireplaces, lounge with a fully equipped entertainment centre (CD, TV, DVD), library, evaporative cooling and a gas BBQ.

So whether you choose to be intoxicated with the countryside and sample regional produce or simply relax and unwind in front of the fire or on the deck, Aviné will not disappoint.
